THE WEST IS A FEELING: JAMES LANDRY HÉBERT

Tucked into the rolling hills north of Los Angeles, the land feels pure and serene. It’s hard to believe that just beyond these dirt roads sits Hollywood, a world defined by constant motion. But out here, time moves differently.

We spent an afternoon with actor and cowboy James Landry Hébert, whose work spans Euphoria, 1883, Stranger Things, Westworld, and Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood to name just a few. Away from the cameras, James is first and foremost a steward of the land and animals around him. The ranch he calls home reflects a deep appreciation for the simple things: open space, honest work, and the rhythm of everyday life.

That afternoon on the ranch was a beautiful reminder that the values of the West aren’t just set within a select few, they’re in everyone. No matter who you are or what your calling may be.

The West isn't just a place, it's a feeling.
